In this elegant transformation of a 140 m² flat, the dark parquet flooring creates a warm, refined atmosphere, making each space intimate and sophisticated.

Interior designer Bela Simon brilliantly rose to the challenge of transforming an upmarket flat located on the 22ᵉ floor of a tower block with uninterrupted sea views. Covering an area of 140 m², the space has been completely redesigned for a client in search of refinement, comfort and warmth.

The flat's sophisticated yet enveloping atmosphere is the result of the use of noble materials such as solid wood, brass and copper, enhanced by bespoke finishes.

The parquet floor, with its wide planks and deep colour, plays a central role in this hushed ambience. It blends harmoniously with carefully selected Italian furniture, lending a sober elegance and aesthetic unity to the whole.

In terms of layout, the bedrooms have been generously enlarged, while the living areas have been restructured to create a more intimate, fluid setting. The lighting, thought out down to the smallest detail, is controlled by a high-performance home automation system, allowing the ambience to be modulated according to the time of day or the mood.

This project combines innovation, refinement and comfort, giving rise to a unique interior, entirely shaped in the image of its occupant.
